The front desk service was incredibly unhelpful during check-in. I also found hair in my sheets, which was absolutely disgusting. Lastly, housekeeping failed to clean my room on our final night. When I brought this up, the staff seemed indifferent to my concerns.

I stayed at Days Inn in Port Arthur recently and there were some nice aspects. The location is really convenient, close to local attractions. The King Room I booked was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that helped ensure a good night's sleep. However, the stay wasn't perfect. I struggled with the coffee machine being out of coffee multiple times during my visit, which was frustrating. The breakfast offered a decent variety, but the hot items could have been better in taste. Also, having outside-access rooms felt a bit less secure than I would prefer. I encountered some noisy neighbors that made falling asleep challenging at times as well. Overall, an okay stay with potential for improvement.

My stay was really enjoyable, especially with how comfortably I slept in the room and the wonderful breakfast variety that fueled my morning explorations. I loved that I was just a short walk away from Kimmy's Cafe for breakfast and only about 4 km from both Tex Ritter Park and the Dutch Windmill Museum, making my city strolls even more delightful.

If there's one thing to highlight, it's Tia Juanita's Fish Camp! The seafood had me dreaming of beach days with every bite. Also, the air conditioning in our spacious King Room was a true lifesaver during the heat!

On the flip side, the hotel felt more motel with outside-access rooms and some peeling paint here and there. The lamp was missing its shade, but the beds were comfy enough to forgive it all.

We enjoyed fishing and boating nearby. The hotel had great activities like outdoor events and comfy 40-inch LED TVs for downtime. Perfect for a group outing!

The room we stayed in was very nice! We had a fridge, microwave, and a sink with utensils. I appreciated having a full kitchenette because it. The free breakfast was decent, even if the pancake machine was down. I mean, come on, that would’ve been the cherry on top. But, we had plenty of nearby options to choose from. One thing I loved was how kind the staff were, they really go the extra mile for you.
